 My Sewing Project "Got Love"  Journal Cover


Well couple of week ago, I went to Quilt Etc. Fabric Store and found this fabric. Don't you think it is cute, funny, and it put a great big smile on your face. I made this for one of my sisters. Hope she loves it. Tell me what you think?

             
Journal size is 6" x 9.5" & has 100 sheets

The front of the journal and you can embellish it more. I will stitch " Got Love" on the top of the flower in the corner of the journal cover with embroidery thread.

The red ribbon is sewn on to help you find your page. And the other red ribbon is for your pen to hold on to so you always have one close by.

So, I was thinking of making more and selling it on Etsy. They would be different fabrics choices.  I  know, I am going to make one for myself to keep my sketches of the cards that, I designs. Tell me what you think?

This is my layout for this week.  I did a fun patterns of stamping the blue cardstock all over with a dark brown color stamp pad. Then use the stars paper pattern to high light my son shirt. And also use  some stickers. I know that you can't see the sticker sayings so, I type it out. Let me know what you think?

I  really had a good time making these pages. I use different  embellishments to make it  look like the  beach wash out  on the net, seashell and much more. The net is a ribbon that, I distress it. Let me know what you think?

Here is a layout,  I work on this weekend. Tell me what you think? I bought this kit at Hobby Lobby. And the kit is by  The Paper Studio. The kit is call Baseball and it came with  (10 ) Sheets of 12x12  Baseball Papers, (1) 3-D Embellishment Sheet, (1) Cardstock Sticker Sheet, (1) Alpha Cardstock Sticker Sheet. Hope you like it. Best part is you can actually design more if you like or use the scrap for cards.
