My Sewing Project "Got Love" Journal Cover

Well couple of week ago, I went to Quilt Etc. Fabric Store and found this fabric. Don't you think it is cute, funny, and it put a great big smile on your face. I made this for one of my sisters. Hope she loves it. Tell me what you think?

Journal size is 6" x 9.5" & has 100 sheets

The front of the journal and you can embellish it more. I will stitch " Got Love" on the top of the flower in the corner of the journal cover with embroidery thread.

The red ribbon is sewn on to help you find your page. And the other red ribbon is for your pen to hold on to so you always have one close by.

So, I was thinking of making more and selling it on Etsy. They would be different fabrics choices. I know, I am going to make one for myself to keep my sketches of the cards that, I designs. Tell me what you think?

This is my layout for this week. I did a fun patterns of stamping the blue cardstock all over with a dark brown color stamp pad. Then use the stars paper pattern to high light my son shirt. Here is a layout, I work on this weekend. Tell me what you think? I bought this kit at Hobby Lobby. And the kit is by The Paper Studio. The kit is call Baseball and it came with (10 ) Sheets of 12x12 Baseball Papers, (1) 3-D Embellishment Sheet, (1) Cardstock Sticker Sheet, (1) Alpha Cardstock Sticker Sheet. Hope you like it. Best part is you can actually design more if you like or use the scrap for cards.

Finally, I am back to doing my blog. I been busy with so much that, I let my blog go for a little bit. But, now that I am back this is what I have been up to; sewing Cricut covers, Bigshot covers, and Cuttlebug covers. Mostly the Cricut Expressions covers they also fit the new E2 machines. The covers I had with the ruffles may not. They are a more snug fit. I had on customer buy a Cricut Expressions cover for her E2 machine and she said it fit great.

For my blog I created a Minnie Mouse Apron. This is a pink apron with Minnie Mouse all over it. I used a red pipping around the edges. I used a red with white polka dots to accent this apron(match her bow).
This Apron just slips over your head and ties in the back waist area. You can make a Big bow to match Minnie's. I ruffled all around the bottom border. I also put a solid pink backing material behind the Minnie Mouse print to make it more sturdy.

International Friends Blog Hop

Welcome to our blog hop about international family traditions. I grew up in Arizona. I am of the Navajo tribe. I grew up speaking Navajo, and English is my second language. We have many ceremonies in our culture for different stages in our lives. My family members make jewelry, rugs, baskets and dolls, as well as other items used in ceremonies.

Since moving off the reservation and away from my family. I do not have the same opportunities to participate in our traditional ceremonies. What I like to do is sew and scrapbook. I have found that, I really enjoy making aprons. I make aprons for my family for all occasions, mostly birthdays and Christmas. I also sew other items and hope you all take a look at it.

This apron that, I have created for this blog hop is a coffee theme. I have sewn piping around the edges, made little pockets, and ruffles at the bottom. This fabric is by Debbie Mumm. I really like the browns, pinks and blues. I accented it with a pink material with polka dots also by Debbie Mumm.

I hope you enjoyed my apron that I created for this blog hop, and the insight into my culture.

Here is what, I made with the KATIE'S KITCHEN Imagine Cricut Cartridge. All the images and back ground came from Katie's Kitchen. I also use brown cardstock. And ribbon is chocolate chip by Stampin Up. Also use Ranger Stickles Star Dust for the top of the cupcake . Tell me what you think?

This is a half apron that, I design for scrapbooking. It has a top and bottom pocket and several hidden pockets. When I go to scrap the night away at friend house, I usually take it with me to put my tools in. Except for sharp objects.

Here is another style of apron that, I been working on. It is a 2 pieces apron. This apron will fit sizes small to medium. The top will detach from the bottom piece utilizing snaps. Here are 6 different styles for the Cricut Expression dust covers that , I made this weekend to sell on Etsy. I got alot of interests in the Cricut Expression dust covers. I can make one for the very first Cricut Machine too. And I am also working on a cover for the Imagine Cricut too. Questions about making pattern is something, I have to try later. I would love to make one but, I have 3 boys that are 3, 4, and 6. I also teach from my home and do custom Aprons for a living. So for now my hand a little full. Today I got the gift from my husband to spend the day Scrapbooking. :)

I went to Archivers in Orem, I got 5 pages in 8 hours so did lots of chating with other ladies.

We had a wonderful time great food and company.

Well I have finally stepping out of my box, and attempting to write a blog. I will update as often as I can. Just write random things that I am doing. Currently I'm watching TV with my Husband kids are asleep. Long day of working on my crafts. Made a new friend today she is extremely nice and hope to see her soon.
